Another great way to end this trip....



Imagine hitting one progressive royal flush on the video poker machine. Well imagine getting two in one day!! The husband was on a wild streak today. He hit his first progressive royal flush in the early afternoon, then we walked over to the Venetian to go visit our friends before we left to go back home, played awhile there. I could not catch a break on this day, rather on this trip. I did ok the first couple of days, but once we got here it was such a challenge. Everything the hubby won, I lost. Anyway, back to the royal flush. He hit the second one at TI a few hours before we were set to leave. Getting one royal flush is hard enough, but to get two progressive, that's just awesome. Looks like we didn't do too bad after all. The loss was not as bad as it could have been.

Well this was a perfect way to end the trip

On the husbands last $5.00 and an hour or so till we were ready to head back home. I swear Peter is just a lucky charm for us.

This was a nice surprise

I love Video Poker and this time I was extra happy when this popped up on the screen, 4 deuces and the kicker dealt to me on a $1.00. I usually play quarters & if I get lucky and keep winning, I mix it up and change the denomination to a higher amount. A suggestion given to me by a friend who always hits on the $1.00 and $5.00 VP machine. If you are not winning switch it to another denomination. So do you have a method when gambling?

I threw away all my cards & then this was my new hand that was dealt. Another Diamond Royal Flush at Bellagio. My first every Royal Flush was here a few years back and it was the diamond suite as well.

I did split the winnings with my girlfriend. She was on it before I was. I told her I would give her half if I hit the Royal Flush.

My second Royal Flush ever and it could not have happen at a better time. If you notice all I held was a lonely queen of hearts. This was at the Venetian, at Peter's bar. What I bought to remember this Royal Flush, a swarovski Ace of hearts case. This is perfect for carrying my ID, credit card, and cash... ready to hit the town.

My First Yellow Chip

Craps is definitely a fun, fast and intimidating game and till this day, I still completely do not understand the whole game of it all. But what a fun and exciting game it is. We made friends at the table as we caught three long rollers!! I told her my goal was to one day collect a yellow chip. ...and wouldn't you know it tonight was the night and I got two. Yes, can you believe it!! Not back to back, but a few pulls later. This is a favorite machine that one must go back to.

Killing time, makes a killing

Waiting for someone to use the potty was well worth it. We argued on which restroom was closer to use, but mom prevailed and we went on our way. So I owe my lucky winnings to her stubbornness. It was just a few hands in and this perfect picture came out.

It was time for bed at about 9 pm. when another 4 aces with the kicker showed up. I was back in the game and bedtime was extended to about 2pm. Tried my luck in the money pit. That was fun. Hung out for at least an hour. Got a couple spins on the Wheel of Fortune. Cherries were sleeping. Played Pinball and Take the Money.
