About Me

My photo
Island girl & Vegas junkie. Sharing my obsession of Sin City. Off the strip, on the strip, dining, hotels, & fashion. No fancy schmancy camera (at least not yet) but I hope you enjoy my view of this wonderful playland in the dessert and some fillers here & there of my hermit lifestyle.

Ichiza Japanese Restaurant & Sake House

This restaurant was recommended by a local gal who worked at one of the hotels on the strip. The hubby asked where she went to eat Japanese food & she said Ichiza. We agreed it was a great local japanese eatery. It's a little hole in the wall and is always busy. If you are having a party of 4 or more, I definately suggest you call ahead for reservations. By the way, next door there is a great bakery. It's located just 10 minutes off the strip in Vegas' chinatown district. Open late night till 3 in the morning. 4355 Spring Mountain Road

Playing with the Queen of Hearts

My second Royal Flush ever and it could not have happen at a better time. If you notice all I held was a lonely queen of hearts. This was at the Venetian, at Peter's bar. What I bought to remember this Royal Flush, a swarovski Ace of hearts case. This is perfect for carrying my ID, credit card, and cash... ready to hit the town.

Spago's @ Caesars

As much as we frequent the Forum shop's year after year, for some reason we have never gone to Spago's for lunch. My, what we have been missing. Great service and delicious entrees. We will definitely be back again.

Serendipity 3

The newest iconic New York restaurant to hit Las Vegas in the Spring of 2009. I was so excited to finally get a taste of that famous Frozen Hot Chocolate. Maybe if I had hit the big ole' jackpot I would have indulged in the $1000.00 Golden Opulence Sundae.

The frozen hot Chocolate blends 20 different kinds of chocolate into an icy, rich cocoa flavor.

Hash House A Go Go

It's Been Awhile

February to be exact. I am so excited to be going soon. Already decided where I will be enjoying my ice cream!! Serendipity 3 here I come. Located at Caesar’s, I am just counting down the days. Yes, days, not months for those of you coming along. What should I try first? I will definitely have the frozen hot chocolate. There is also the $1000.00 sundae which is way out of my reach in dollars, but hey who knows, we are in Vegas, anything can happen!! Candy Cotton apple martini sound good as well. So excited.

Good Morning Las Vegas

How beautiful to wake up and see the sunrise knowing that you'll be touching down in a few minutes and ready for Sin City

I Love 4 of A Kind's

Hickory's Best

Since my old fav is no longer being sold at the shop. We found a new Beef Jerky Store. This one I like best. It has a bit of spice which ad such great flavor. I say no to the Hickory's Best Teriyaki flavor. I have yet to try the many others that they have to offer. They have Adobo Jerky to Alligator and Ostrich Jerky. Although, I miss the good old Bass Pro Shop buffalo jerky. It is readily available for sale back home.

My favorite Omiyage

So these Cranberry Nougats are my favorite amongst the variety of flavors they have. Blueberry, Almond, Orange, Maple, and Coffee. I tried the variety bag, because purchasing each flavor would run me broke!! It's like $9.00 a box. So those of you Lup Chong lovers, these are the best. I always need to go DT and pick up a supply. Yes, Supply!!

Yippy!!

Yes, it's the same machine. Remember this post is late, so actually the one you saw previously is actually the one that hit again.

The Meridian

The Meridian Condos. A gated complex behind the strip.

After two years of Video Poker, the Royal Flush has graced my presence at the Bellagio.
