It was Apple Bee's or our favorite sushi dive. I was craving goyza so I ordered a plate and I was also craving edamame and avocado roll. It's a good thing I just stuck to ordering a plate of goyza & avocado roll. Even that was alot, 5 pieces and a nice serving of salad. These appetizer were a meal in itself. When my tonkatsu order arrived, there was goyza and edamame that I was craving. I didn't need to do any side orders. It was all in my plate. It also came with miso soup, the only thing missing was the tempura, which I took from the hubby. Sushi On Rainbow serves great Japanese food at very affordable prices. I ended up taking home my leftovers, which I had a lot of. We come here ever time we are in Vegas yet for some reason I keep forgetting the portions are good

The newly renovated Noodle Asia at The Venetian
They took a portion of the sportsbook seating area and expanded. There is more room and a perfect view of the screens for all those sports fans.

Ichiza Sake House Japanese Restaurant
We were out & about in the early evening so I got the hubby to go to Ichiza. My husband stumbled upon this authentic Japanese eatery from a waitress who worked at Hamada's. He asked her where she goes when she want to eat good Japanese food. Don't get me wrong Hamada's is a great place also for Japanese cuisine. Here at Ichiza the prices are very reasonable. It's always crowded and opens from 3pm. If you don't mind eating with other people on a shared table, maybe your wait won't be as long. Don't forget to check out all the different menu items hanging around the establishment, you might find something much more appetizing there than on the traditional menu.
Yakitori and Agesashi Tofu
Garlic Baby Bok Choy - Baby Bok Choy in garlic soup
Agedashi Tofu - Deep fried tofu in Ichiza special sauce
Expanded menu through the restaurant
The Coffee Shop at TI
Open Face Turkey Sandwich
I wish I had photo's from the days when economy was booming. This plate was overflowing with turkey & gravy.

Coasta Cantina at The Orleans
The chip & salsa would have been better if I could eat the smokin' hot salsa. I asked the waiter if they had a milder salsa, but unfortunately he said this batch that was made was extra extremely hot. It was normally not this spicy.
Well at least you cannot go wrong with a top shelf margarita
Combo plate Chicken & Beef Flautas
Flour tortillas rolled with shredded beef or
chicken fried to a golden brown, topped with
green sauce, guacamole, sour cream, black
olives, tomatoes and shredded cheese
This looks like two beef flauta's because they made a mistake on the order. It was quickly fixed.

Ping Pang Pong
Since we found out that Noodle Asia at the Venetian was closed for renovations we headed out to Gold Coast to Ping Pang Pong. They are both owned by the same owner. This is your very traditional dim sum Chinese restaurant. Fast paced and for me, the waitress' are hard to understand and are not patient when you do not understand what they are saying :)! and they want you out as soon as you are done. I think this is the only culture that we still put up with bad customer service, but we still come back for more. Why is that? Anyway, we were not disappointed at all, everything we tried was very good and not too greasy at all. My favorite was a noodle within a noodle. This is where I asked the waitress what is this and she just kept saying noodle...noodle in noodle....just noodle. I took one bite and enjoyed every bit of it. Soft on the outside and crunchy within. We also to some desserts to go.
There is always a line, we got there at 11 and we had to wait about 10 minutes before being seated. So if you don't like lines get there early. The average wait time we have experienced was half an hour at the longest. Remember, they like you in and out.

Food Truck gathering to support The Nevada Cancer Institute
I try to get the husband to hunt down a food truck when we are out & about, this time I was lucky becuase we were actually in the area where a food rally was happening.. Social media is a great tool when you want to find out what's happeing around you. SlidinThru and several other trucks were at the National Cancer Institute for lunch.
I couldn'd decide what to eat, everything on the menu looked so ono. I ended up with a Yaya burger and a Pulley Porky. Both were full of flavor and perfectly portioned for me.
Oh, and I love how they greet their customers, with a big bang fist pump!!
Find them on Twitter @slidinthru
The husband went to Yellow Tail lunch wagon to grab a bit. I think he got the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich

Sugar Factory American Brasserie & Bar
Since opening at the Mirage in 2007, Sugar Factory has expanded to a American Brasserie and Bar. This new location is at the Paris hotel on the strip which opened this past March 2011. I saw three different sections plus an upstairs. The front side has the dining area, the direct opposite has the retail store and in the back before entering the Paris casino is the chocolate lounge. I wish I knew about this before we had dinner. looks like a cool fun bar.
A Hubba Bubba for me... Next time I go I am definitely going to try the fish bowl
